BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer watched a peach colored object in the western sky that later changed to a more reddish color. Object was just above the mountains. The object was at approximately a 45 degree elevation above the horizon. Object was in view for about five minutes before the observer stopped watching. The object did not disappear.
The description is consistent with that of an astronomical observation. The star, Aldebaran, was at the approximate location of the unknown and could account for the observation.
