BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observers noted a bright colored light in the western sky. The light was predominately red but white and green also appeared. The lights were extremely bright and clear. The object was the size of an automobile. The object was hovering for about five minutes. The object did not remain completely still while hovering but moved up and down about 5 degrees. The object disappeared from view in the distance after about 30 minutes.

The description is consistent with that of an astronomical observation. Venus was in the western sky at the time of sighting.
