11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer sharply outlined object about 15-20 ft off ground that had red blinking light. Object rose and disappeared into fog that was in area. Reappeared and this time was 2-3 ft above tree line. Made noise that was whistling with a high pitch. Object looked like a cigar with a blinking red light. No information available to indicate the sightings was not that of an aircraft. Pittsburgh airport is WWN of area and would be in direction of observation. Possibility of A/C approaching airport.
