11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observers saw a star-like, red and white object. The object was first sighted at 270-280 deg, 45 deg above the horizon and faded out 265 deg and 30 deg above the horizon.

The Quadrantid meteor shower reaches its peak activity on 3 Jan.
