11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observers saw a blue-white light traveling at a very high rate of speed. The object left a blue-white trail behind it. One observer stated that it made a hissing sound. One observer described it as a star with a needle-like nose.
The Quadrantid meteor shower reaches its peak activity on 3 Jan.
