11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Object appeared as a ball of fire moving in a southwesterly direction. The object was flashing and it was moving against a strong wind. Altitude: 1000ft. The night was clear and there were no known a/c in the area. The object gradually diminished in size and disappeared over the horizon. The object was first sighted by three separate police units at [ILLEGIBLE] ONCE. It is believed that they all sighted the same object. A series of meteor showers were in progress at the time of the sighting and the show activity was at its peak at the time of the sighting.
