11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Only one object appeared at a time, but over a period of two hours approx 25 appeared. Objects appeared as burning white light sometimes possessing a tail of red-orange sparks. First object seen from east to west legs off the horizon, but there was no steady pattern of flight or speed for the objects generally faded out. The night was clear and there were known a/c in the area. Meteors were sighted by Pope AFB throughout the night of the 16th and the morning of the 17th. Investigator believes objects to be meteors.
