Observer saw a white round, glowing object which seemed to explode when near the ground. Several reports of meteorites were received. Conversations made by local tower A/C and radar personnel on the ground. Investigator was sent to the site where object appeared to have landed and nothing was found. Investigator concluded the object was a meteorite.
