11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Observer was looking for the comet through 7X50 binoculars when the object appeared as a brilliant silver sphere. First observer thought of the evening star, but it is too far west of noon. Object appeared too high for an n/c. Object appeared relatively the same size as the comet in upper right of observation. Object appears to be a plume of white gas with rate of speed increasing. Observer looked away for a moment in order to show it to others who were watching also. When first observer looked again the sphere had vanished leaving a long silvery plume with a dark object at its base and far above it was an extremely fast moving, tiny looking dark entity [HW:] burn the air at a high rate of speed, flying in a southerly direction.
