11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Single vapor trail in N moving East observed from Civilian Airplane. This single contrail became 7 distinct contrail apparently N/C in formation. Speed estimated as in excess of Mach 1. Altitude 20 deg elevation. Altitude of formation estimated at 25,000,000 ft. Trail disappeared from rear.
