BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: White shiny object brighter than moon with blue tint observed through TX with something trailing on back that looked like a parachute. Object appeared to be bouncing. Sighted coming from work at 1000Z until sight at 1330Z. (Sighting reported as from night to dawn.) Object in SE at about 30 dgr elevation. Disappeared by fading. Object appeared to be yellow at sunrise. Movement slow & in straight line.

ERROR IN TIME OF REPORT, Three hours prior to sunrise Venus was in the SE at about 30 dgr elevation. Sight has aspects of astronomical observation and Venus would disappear with the rising of the sun. [HW:] VENUS IS A BRIGHT OBJECT AT SUNRISE
