10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING A white light, more brilliant than usual shooting star, falling to the SW of Wichita Falls, with no noise. 11. COMMENTS Description is that of classic meteor. Meteor, probably of fireball class, was very startling and probably a first-time experience for the witnesses. There was some material recovered, supposedly in conjunction with the sighting. The material has been turned over to the Smithsonian Institute for analysis, but as yet no answer. ATIC opinion is that recovered material had no connection with the sighting.
