10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Witness states that jet type a/c flying N seen to explode and pilot bail out with parachute descending rapidly. a/c estimated at 8000 ft. Entire observation lasted only 5 sec?? Two F-89 a/c vectored to area with negative results due to darkness. No additional report received.

11. COMMENTS An occurrence of this nature would last longer than 5 sec. Either the time is out of reason or the incident is not reported accurately. In any case the report, if true, is of a known object, namely an a/c.
