10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Bright StarLike Object. Size of medium-sized star. Would disappear below horizon. Appeared 290°E, 30° from horizon. Disappeared 300°E, 5° from horizon.

11. COMMENTS Description leads to the conclusion that this was atmospheric refraction of a common object. Witness believes he saw same object both times rather than same phenomenon both times. Motion associated with objects viewed under these conditions is not unusual and is usually not real. Refraction or star or planet.
