10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING [ILLEGIBLE] cylindrical object with flat top and tear-drop shaped bottom coming to a slight point observed for 3 seconds. Appeared to be green color with tail of red sparks. Size of half-dollar to grapefruit at arm's length. Moved very fast upwards to about 60 deg and then downward in an arc and disappeared over the horizon.

11. COMMENTS It has been determined from interviews description and duration that the object of this sighting was a meteor. On occasion the appearance of rising is present and as the distance from the observer increases the object then has the appearance of descent. Also evaluated meteor by astronomers at Griffith Observatory.
