It is quite possible that sighting is of an air plasma which resulted from the associated E & M effects from a daylight meteor.

11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS [REDACTED] that was seen in the area at the approximate time of the sighting.

The observer sighted a tear drop shaped object that was "incandescent-ultra-violet" in color. The phenomena was slightly higher than the high tension lines in the area but in no way connected to them. The phenomena disappeared in a shower of gold colored sparks.
