BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS At 0050 hrs on 6 Feb 1968, Observers (two) sighted a brilliant light at about 70 degs elevation in the southern sky. The Object was observed until 0700hrs at which time it could no longer be seen because of daylight.

Comments: At time of sighting 0050 Jupiter was at an elevation of 70 degs and an azimuth of 180 degs and had a stellar mag. of -2l.
