BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Observer sighted a str like object that alternated between red and green. The object was in the east at an ele. of about 15 deg. Comments: The observer later told the investigator at the local air force base that he thinks he and his wife were observing the planet Saturn. Saturn was roughly in the SW at the time of the sighting. Ele. of 40 degs. Betelgeuse was at an az. of 110 degs., and ele of 41 degs. There were numerous other bright stars in the eastern sky. Sirius, Procyon, Pollux, Castor and Aldebaran are some of them.
