BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer sighted an object that darted like a bird except it did NOT have any wings The object appeared as a dark blue bird and when first seen was hovering over dog house The object disappeared at tree top [ILLEGIBLE] in woods to the NNE. Comments: The observer states several times that the object looked similar to a bird except no wings could be seen. The observer states that the object was just above one end of the house and was between 20 feet & ½ mile away. The observer states that "I went on down the steps" from the edge of the yard still watching what I thought was a low bird It seems possible that the observer did actually see a bird under unusual conditions.
