CONCLUSION Probable: HOAX After receipt of observers 164 a 164 was sent to the witness. The witness report was returned and then both reports were sent to a handwriting expert. The experts opinion was that both forms were filled out by the same person.
BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer sighted an object that was like a flying carpet that was burning at both ends. The object was first sighted coming from the south toward the north and in a matter of seconds returned and headed south. The object appeared to be about 100 ft from the beach over the sea and about 300 ft high.
