11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer noted solid object that he could not see through the object. The object had lights all around it. Object disappeared into a wooded area behind trees and did not appear again. Object was larger than one of our army tanks and our tanks do not fly. A very low humming sound was heard by the observer. Object was compared to a large army tank.
The initial evaluation of a possible aircraft with some type of advertising insignia seemed reasonable; however, the local airport knew of no such aircraft operating in the area. Without additional data the case is being carried as UNIDENTIFIED by the Air Force.
