II. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer noted a meteor like object, but was much wider. The object formed a 180 degree arc which was visible for only an instant. Object was compared with a small rainbow that had been seen in the past. The object did not totally disappear, leaving no discernible trail. The object was speckled like starburst construction material (dull red). It did not look like any meteors the witness had seen before this sighting.
Description is consistent with that of a meteor. Duration of the sighting is insufficient to obtain a definite shape of the object.
