11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Object was described as being shaped like a cup and saucer with two blinking red lights and a white light on the bottom. The reporter stated that two of the witnesses heard a peeping sound. Observation speed and size of object was only 100 ft away yet stated that a match head at arms length would cover 1/3 of the object. Could have been an aircraft with landing lights on. The witnesses were evidently confused about the distance that the object was from them.
Sighting is carried as conflicting data. Witness stated that she reported this sighting to the Air Base at Rome, New York. Will reevaluate when/if the report is received.
