BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Observer saw a huge orange light about the size of a room about a quarter of a mile away. It looked as though the woods were on fire. It seemed to be 20-30 feet off the ground. It went up a little ways and then came back down. It never touched the ground. If it got smaller and within a minute was completely out of sight.
Observers mind could have been shaped by recent magazine article on UFOs.
