10. CONCLUSION Astro (MARS) [HW: setting on the Western Horizon at the time of the report. Object has characteristics of an Astro Body being refracted.]

11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Flat oval shaped object chrome like with red stripe. Flame appeared to be emitting from the top center. No sound. Object unusually bright. Observed at ground level in West. Flight was straight down into the ground. 15-17 minute sighting. Time of report (Local 20/0). Refraction of Astro object. MARS at horizon setting at about time of report. Confusion in Z time and Local time. Personnel in Control Tower at McClellan AFB observed object and believed it to be a Star.
