Many a/c in area. Jet airway 60 passes South of Sturgis, and the object could appear to be in this air corridor. Light could have been the beacon on an a/c tanker since both upper and lower beacon show flashing red and blue lights.
11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Small red and blue object sighted visually in the South at 40 deg elevation. Disappearing in the S2 at 60 deg elevation. Straight level horizontal flight. Did not see object disappear [ILLEGIBLE] left area of observation. Flight was to the NNE.
