11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS 6 lights, oval, small in diagonal or wedge formation, appeared to be luminous travelling from East to West then turning back to NE. Objects travelling at high speed. Changed formation once and had no specific pattern as they change direction to the NE. Night time 6 objects (lights) appeared to be above a scattered cloud deck.
CONCLUSIONS: 6 lights confined to small area. Maybe one or more a/c Local traffic eliminated as source. Possible a/c from other areas. Flight path indicates directional change to Santa Fe or Las Vegas direction. Observation brief (30 seconds) but long enough for a/c observation of the nature. Also observation occurred in overcast VR and some obscuration likely occurred due to clouds and haze. Case regarded as an a/c observation of one or more aircraft.
