10. CONCLUSION: Astronomical (METEOR) No unusual Radar pickup this date. PMA listed no A/C at Norfolk this time period. Description of sighting is similar to a meteor with portions of the original object trailing. Duration and flight consistent with data available.

11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: 7-8 bright white lights, one round large light leading 6-7 pin-head size object in trail (close single file formation). No round. Appeared in Western sky and appeared to be a great distance away from the observer. Flight path straight and level from North to South. A split second before final disappearance another large object sawed to shoot out ahead of the original object. [ILLEGIBLE] clear. Witness police patrolmen.
