10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: Report received at 0200 Local 23 Sep 63 from SAC Control post of observation by B-47 Pilot Obj was heading North Estimated to be 20 deg above horizon and 500-600 miles distant Trailing bright tail 25-30 miles long.
11. COMMENTS: Obj at this latitude would have an angular component if it was a Satellite Decay With depth ruled out Obj assumed to be meteor Also remote possibility of auroral stremmer Duration omitted No mention of movement other than trailing a bright tail Case evaluated as a possible meteor sighting.
