BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING 1) Object at 3-5 dgr elevation 55 dgr azimuth moving slowly to Sw under observation for 45 minutes. 2) Object appeared to vary in size. 3) Larger toward end of sighting. 4) Round shape with reddish glow. 5) Five times brighter than brightest star. 6) Disappearance at 15-20 dgr elevation.

11. COMMENTS: Star Spica was in the southwest at 5'dgr elevation at initial report time and in 45 minutes had risen to about 15'dgr. Sight is characteristic of an observation of an Astro body. Motion, duration, direction of travel conform with this analysis. Sharp inversion in area probably contributed to the distortion of appearance.
