10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Bright light changing color from orange to red, growing more brilliant, observed at 20 degrees elevation in southwest moving over the horizon in the east in 2-3 seconds. No trail or sound, estimated distance from observer 2 miles. One witness described as burning airplane.

11. COMMENTS Description of burning object moving through sky indicates obvious meteor sighting. Since object disappeared over the horizon the estimate of distance is inconsistent.
