BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Round obj w/fin on top & bottom, Body 4 times as large as fins, Size of piper cub at 3/4 miles, No color, Bright lights around body, Moving N to S along Oradell Reservoir, First observed over trees, orb hovered then hovered & dropped into water, It rose about 100 feet as it passed obsrvrs, Disappeared heading S, Obsrvd fs bridge Observation at night-calm water,clear moon (See Case File)
11. COMMENTS This sighting triggered a flurry of rptd sightings in the N.J area fm 15-24 Sep Carried in most UFO publications Analysis of this particular sighting is based on reported data presented case evaluator made indactly other evaluation No attempt at analysis of many other rptd sightings
