BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING See case file. COMMENTS It is concluded that the misidentification of the planet Venus was the cause for the UFO sighting. Atmospheric effects which distorted the object, the brightness of the star Spica to the planet & unfamiliarity of the witness w/astronomical obj's were probably contributing factors.
