BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SIGHTING: Egg shaped obj with red light as bright as brightest star, Shiny, Stood still, changed speed & brightness in 15 second sighting, Gave appearance of being solid, Blurred when moving, Round when slowing down, No sound, No smell or heat. Observed first in NW & then disappeared over horizon in SW. Initial observation at 045dgr disappearing at 125 dgr. Slowing down occurred when it was near a star.
