10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING[HW:It brighter than star. Appeared to stand still at 1st, suddenly speeded up and rushed away. Changed brightness and flickered. Was a golden gleam then a big white ball. Size of grapefruit at arms length.]

11. COMMENTS[HW:It is possible that objt of sight- ing was planet Mars. Mars was just on or just below witnesses horizon and was brought into view by atmospheric refraction. Planet was not very bright at this time, having a magnitude of +3 +3,9 but the relatively bright objt w/effect of r refraction appeared as a very bright moving disc to observers. Description and apparent motions are same as objts under circumstances of atmospheric refraction.]
