10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: First sighting appeared as a line similar to an a/c condensation trail which faded for a fraction of a sec and then resumed and intensified until head-on glowed white to size of a pencil diameter before fading out. Trail length appeared to be approx ten sec. Linear track. Final white spot on track followed a parabolic trajectory. Initial sight was at approx 35° elav and described a falling track to about 20° elav before disappearing.

11. COMMENTS: There was no satellite reported. Description is characteristic of a fairly rare phenomenon called a daylight meteor. Majority of meteors that enter earth's atmosphere are so small that they cannot be seen during daytime. Those that have mass, few meteors that are still fairly large when they enter the earth's atmosphere and they can be seen leaving a trail similar to an a/c.
