REPORT SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: [ILLEGIBLE] object in sky observed through car window travelling East, stopping and then going West. Diminished in brightness prior to disappearing. Object was red in center with yellow border. Object was seen to have a tail which went West. No sound. Observed at 60-70 deg elevation.

COMMENTS: No mention of the speed of the object was given or the length of the pause between changing directions. Also it is difficult to understand how this much information about an object could be given in a sight log or observation report when the object must have been moving at great speed. Observed from moving car through windshield at an elevation of 60-70 degrees the witness was able to follow his observations throughout and to allow this report.
