10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: Object described as extremely brilliant with a large tail, Tall, or trail, was red with traces of blue and green. Object viewed as it crossed sky to N of witnesses. No sound heard in conjunction with sighting. Witness stated that it could have been a meteor.

11. COMMENTS: Description matches that of a meteor of the "fireball" class. No evidence that this was not a meteor. Request to fill out questionnaire was sent, however no answer, Duration of sighting not included 1960 India is reentering this date is not available due to Satellite decay, however since the additional information requested was not received the case is listed as a meteor in view of the observers statement,
