10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: Large sphere shape with 3 triangular lights; size of sphere is about 1/10 size from 3 light sources (windows) 1/10 size of sphere. Overall color of sphere - dull orange. Appearance similar to a Japanese lantern. Sighted O/W in a northerly direction. Disappeared O/W in a northerly direction, the object flew a pursuit curve on Echo.

11. COMMENTS: Witness could see light sources well enough to determine exact shape and indicate the size to be 1/10 that of the object, but was unable to give any detail as all conversation was on position of object Witness indicates object was very close or very large - it is hard to understand how this crew trained witness would not have made a better identification if thinking was probably an a/c, ie tanker with its special lights on while the crew was trying for better view from the view of the fact that witnesses should have been familiar with such an object, this case classed unidentified.
