BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING [ILLEGIBLE] ONCE object, larger than any star in sight at the time, about the size of a pea, very bright, usually white, but was observed to flicker from white to red to blue and back to white again. It appeared to be slowly drifting as it circled the city in a clock-wise direction. Object disappeared as daylight approached.

11. COMMENTS The object was probably the star Vega, a 1st magnitude star*, which was in the location reported for the UFO. The apparent movement was probably due to warm air and foreign particles in the atmosphere.
