10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING [ILLEGIBLE] objects, size of a quarter at arm's length, bright like a star first seen at a distance of 5 miles, climbing slightly, and just disappeared.

The strip of film was given a thorough examination and nothing of an unusual nature nor anything such as described by the witness appeared in any of the frames. A check was made to determine the possibility of the objects being U-2/C and there were none in the area at the time. Witness Location was three sites from a large river and the objects were on the other side of the river. There was a main highway between his and the river. Temperature was a cold 11° and the wind 11 kts. Possible that the witness saw a mirage, however this would have appeared on the film.
