BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING A white glowing object that looked like a small novelt balloon was observed at about 15 feet in the air for about 10 seconds; heat could be felt coming from the object; it moved off and disappeared after a few seconds; and a noise similar to jet a/c could be heard. Picture taken by a newspaper photographer. Negatives not received at NIC.

COMMENTS No analysis made of negative, Without which no evaluation can be made; it is possible that this was merely a weather balloon that had developed a look and was being carried along by surface winds; the witness probably made up most of the story in order to create sensationalism, which in turn sells more newspapers; The picture is not very clear and as such precludes a valid conclusion as to the nature of the object
