BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING One round silver obj, size of baseball at arm's length, Obj initially sighted at 180dgr azimuth & 89dgr elevation, Obj had no movement, Obj viewed visually & thru binoculars for 15 mins & still in sight at time of rpt, Obj had been seen at same time plus days before, Completed ATIC 164 indicate: 1) obj observed for 3hr 30 mins & still visible, 2) obj initially sighted at 0940CDT 2 Sep/139dgr azi,60dgr elev., 3) obsrvr stopped watching obj at 1310 CDT Position of obj at this time was down like sun.
ATIC FORM J29 (REV SEP '52)
Source believed obj to be an asteroid or large satellite. Concluded as planet Venus during daytime.
Summary cont'd: 270dgr azi;45dgr elevation. Source observed on numerous clear days since first sighting. obj following same path of movement, 5/29Sep azimuth,38dgr elev./736CDT/136dgr ,48dgr elev. Last source has been able to observe obj is down like sun.
