10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: One round orange object, size of a basketball, resembled an ordinary star / naked eye. Through binoculars a small crater was noticed & the object appeared to emit fiery gas from the bottom. Object sighted at 300 deg azimuth at a very high altitude. Object was heading in a north-westerly direction. Object was visually & through binoculars for one hour. Object disappeared by fading out of sight.

11. COMMENTS: Concur with source in considering Mars as the cause for the sighting.
