11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Unidentified target appeared on HS-39 a/c radar scope at 1330Z, 1302Z, 1300Z and was observed 15,20,15 seconds respectively. At km of 2nd observation, at it seemed started he came a real Iwo Jima object. At km of approx same time as Iwo Jima approx 500-500 mph. The observer stated that the pick up was not caused from any interference. Pilot of a/c was informed that no a/c were scheduled to be in vicinity of observations for approx 2 hours. No weather information available.
