10. CONCLUSION Astro (VENUS or JUPITER)

11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS White object changing colors hovered for 30 min then disappeared slowly over horizon. Object appeared to be hovering in a haze layer. Two s/c made unsuccessful attempts to close in on object.

CONCLUSIONS: The planet "Jupiter" is in the approx position in the sky at this date & time although higher on the horizon than the reported unknown. Factors pointing toward astro solution: 1. Object remained in approx same position 10 min as observed from ground & air. 2. Began sinking in the N (Venus would do with its own transit of haze layer) & cause the light change in intensity & give apparent movement N to S, both of which were attributed to object. 3. Unknown: Was Venus.
