BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS The observer sighted a blue, green, red object that was larger than a star and was similar to a saucer with a large hump in the middle. The object was viewed for 1½ hours, in roughly the Sw.

COMMENTS: There were no known aircraft or balloons in the vicinity and no unusual weather. Nothing unusual was painted by nearby radars. The military observer 20 miles approx. west of observer said he saw the object in the north while observer said S*. The investigating officer thought it could have been astronomical. There are many bright stars it may have been Capella, Procyon, Castor Betelgeuse or even Jupiter.
