11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Observer sighted a blue white object. The object was slightly brighter than Venus; the edges of the object were fuzzy, it appeared to travel at fantastic speed, and had a smoke trail. It vanished at an elec of about 30 degrees.

Comments: In the original letter the observer indicated that she saw it at 5:15 pm on 17 Nov. On Form 117 she indicated that she saw it at 6:15 on 18 Nov '67. The observer is only 11 yrs old. Witness was contacted but did not return the 117s. It appears that the object was a fireball or bright meteor.
