11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS The observer sighted five to seven orangish lights that were in a line and staggered upward on a titled axis. The lights were seen for three to four minutes and suddenly went out as if turned off. A second pilot, 11 minutes later and 123 miles away, reported that he saw a single white light then all disappeared. Both pilots are reported to have placed the lights just off the coast lines of South Carolina and Georgia.
