Arcturus was on an azimuth of 273 deg, elevation of 25 deg at time of the sighting.
BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Object was nothing more than a light source. Object appeared as a light, brighter than the brightest stars. Edges of the object were sharply outlined. It appeared to be motionless. Object disappeared at times for brief intervals, as it flashed out after growing dim to the point of darkness. Object was brilliant red.
